'diet Coke' Drinkers Set To Get A Bit More From Their Favourite No Sugar Soft Drink
British women's favourite soft drink 'diet Coke' gets a little extra boost with the launch of new 'diet Coke Plus'.
Coca-Cola Great Britain (CCGB) is set to introduce a unique new addition to its 'diet Coke' brand - new 'diet Coke Plus' in October. Launched in the US and Belgium earlier this year, 'diet Coke Plus' offers consumers the choice of drinking a no sugar soft drink with the addition of functional benefits. The first time that The Coca-Cola Company has added functional benefits to one of its sparkling beverages in Great Britain.
'diet Coke Plus' will have all the great taste and refreshment of 'diet Coke', but with the added benefit of vitamins for consumers vitality and wellbeing and antioxidants to help consumers keep up with today's hectic lifestyle. The new product, available in two variants, 'diet Coke Plus' Vitamins and 'diet Coke Plus' Antioxidants, will be aimed at loyal 'diet Coke' consumers giving them all the taste and refreshment of diet Coke plus a little extra goodness and will come in a 350ml serving and 350ml 4pk.
Marketing Director for CCGB, Cathryn Sleight says: "The launch of 'diet Coke Plus' is in response to consumer feedback around their changing lifestyles and needs. We all want to keep healthy, but it's not always easy with today's busy lifestyle. 'diet Coke Plus' offers two great ways for consumers to enjoy their favourite 'diet Coke' break while getting a little bit extra to see them through the day - for women who already love the taste of 'diet Coke', 'diet Coke Plus' gives them even more reasons to enjoy."
'diet Coke Plus' will be available nationwide from October 2007 and will be launched by an extensive marketing campaign including TV, print and outdoor advertising and PR.
