A 'Coke' For Every Walk of Life
If you've ever thought that the only drink to come out of The Coca-Cola Company is 'Coca-Cola' in its various guises (from diet to Cherry), then think again. In recent years, Coca-Cola Great Britain has extended its range of drinks to suit the needs of everyone and every type of taste and lifestyle.
Today, besides its classic 'Coca-Cola' offering, Coca-Cola Great Britain offers a broad selection of sparkling and still drinks including 'Sprite', 'Minute Maid' and 'Oasis' through to 'Malvern' English Water and sports drink 'Powerade'.
If you're looking to cut down on sugar or calorie intake, but don't want to lose out on taste, there is a wide range of low and no added sugar drinks to choose from. 'Diet Coke', 'Coke' Zero, 'Sprite' Zero, 'Schweppes Straightcut' Slimline Lemon and 'Oasis' Light are just a few. Juliette Kellow, nutritionist explains the benefit of such low-calorie drinks:
"Soft drinks come in a wide variety of tastes and flavours and can help to satisfy us. For people on a reduced-calorie diet, a low or no sugar soft drink is useful as it means they can cut down on sugar without missing out on their favourite drink."
As well as drinks for enjoyment and refreshment, Coca-Cola Great Britain is increasing the number of products in its portfolio that offer direct nutritional benefits. 'Minute Maid' 100% pure squeezed Orange Juice, for example is made using not-from-concentrate juice, with no added sugar or additives.
"Just one small glass of fruit juice counts as one of your five daily portions of fruit and vegetables. It's a good way to start the day or enjoyed with a healthy meal at lunchtime," adds Juliette.
As lifestyles continue to change, Coca-Cola Great Britain will continue to look at adding new drinks to its range - whether sparkling, still or simply nutritious. The company strives to bring the best taste and quality across its range so they are second to none.
