Coca-Cola Great Britain Cuts Sugar And Artificial Colours In Fanta Orange
Coca-Cola Great Britain (CCGB) has cut 30 per cent of the sugar and all artificial colours from Fanta Orange - one of the company's flagship products and Britain's best-loved soft drinks.
Still with its famous tangy orange taste, the new Fanta Orange will now contain new lower sugar levels and no artificial colours, whilst continuing to include 5% fruit juice. Artificial colours have also been removed from Fanta Orange Zero - the zero added sugar variant. The change is part of CCGB's on-going work with nutritionists and food scientists, and dialogue with parents about their nutrition concerns.
Cathryn Sleight, Marketing Director of Coca-Cola Great Britain comments: "We're committed to offering a diverse range of products for all the family and this change is part of an ongoing brand evolution for Fanta. It has always been one of the most popular soft drinks in the UK, particularly with families and teenagers. So we've listened to mums from around the country and introduced changes without compromising taste to ensure Fanta continues to meet the evolving needs of their families."
The new product will be supported by a through the line marketing campaign which includes PR, media and in-store activation. It will be available in two-litre bottles, 6x330ml packs, 500ml bottle and 330ml cans.
