Coca-Cola Great Britain Set To Lead Its Christmas Campaign With Classic Ad

CCGB to air 'Holidays are Coming' by public demand.

Coca-Cola Great Britain (CCGB) today unveiled its plans to screen its hugely popular and iconic Christmas advertisement, 'Holidays are Coming', during this year's festive period due to popular consumer demand.

CCGB has chosen to air the ad after scores of passionate Brits contacted the Customer Information Centre to enquire when it will be aired, with many citing the ad as the marking the 'beginning of Christmas'.

As a result, CCGB has chosen to use two of their best loved ads during the festive period. Kickstarting the campaign with 'Holidays are Coming' as we enter into Christmas, their latest offering, 'The Greatest Gift' will air in December.

'Holidays are Coming' will start the season from 18th November, closely followed in December on the media schedule by 'The Greatest Gift'. 'The Greatest Gift' was created by London-based agency Mother and brings back the traditional Sundblom-inspired image of Santa to capture the magic of Christmas and celebrate the gift of giving.

This year also sees CCGB champion the gift of giving by running two on pack promotions this festive period including 'Win a White Christmas' on 500ml bottles of 'Coca-Cola', 'diet Coke' and 'Coca-Cola Zero'. A special prize/gift giving advent calendar is also featured on 'Coca-Cola' and 'diet Coke' 24x330ml multipacks.
